Mechanical Inspector

Location: Denham, Middlesex

Salary: £37,000k - £40,000k per year

Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-12:00.

About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Inspector to join the Inspection Team within a leading engineering and manufacturing company. This role involves managing First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute First Article Inspections and Patrol Inspection Audits

Ensure FAIs comply with AS9102 & QAI-148 standards

Analyze engineering drawings and 2D/3D images

Utilize Qpulse QPM, SAP, or equivalent systems

Maintain inspection records and support quality improvements

Key Requirements:

Experience in manufacturing or engineering (Aerospace background preferred)

Quality Engineering/Inspection experience

Knowledge of AS9100 & AS9102 processes

Strong skills in engineering drawings & technical interpretation
