Sphere Solutions are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a large-scale residential development in Swindon. This is a long-term opportunity to work on a major scheme, focusing on plot setting out and 278 works.

Key Responsibilities:

Set out plots and infrastructure works, including 278 works.

*

Ensure accurate setting out using relevant instruments.

*

Work closely with site management, subcontractors, and design teams.

*

Provide clear and accurate reports on progress.

*

Assist in maintaining site records and quality assurance.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer in the residential sector.

*

Strong knowledge of 278 works and plot setting out.

*

CSCS Card – essential.

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

*

Own setting out equipment is preferred but not essential (rates will reflect this).

*

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
