Electrical Engineer | Automotive | Norfolk | Full Time Onsite | £35,000 - £40,000

Our client, who is based on the outskirts of Norwich, is an established automotive company with a global client base.

They are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team and combine their electrical engineering expertise with design responsibilities. 

In this position, you’ll have the chance to design intricate electrical systems, while contributing to configuration and testing processes for advanced automotive technology.

Role:

Create design documentation: specifications, cable schedules, block diagrams, Bill of Materials, cable and loom drawings.
Test and fault-find electrical systems, including cables and control panels.
Configure hardware and perform functional testing.What We’re Looking For:

2 -3 years in an Electrical Engineering role or similar
Hands-on experience with electrical systems: control panels, cabling, servodrives, and logic controllers.
Background in testing and fault finding.
A precision/advanced engineering environment experience is ideal.
BTEC or HNC qualification ideallyThis role is perfect for Electrical Engineers with practical experience who want to grow into electrical design. A background in Automotive, HIL/SIL Simulation, Industrial Automation, or Advanced Engineering is a big plus!
