Pricing Controller

Dovetail are recruiting for a Pricing Controller for a great company based in Thatcham.

Job Responsibilities:

Commercial/ Sales:

* Price new/current specifications for new and existing customers and produce quotations. This will involve liaison with internal departments (design, customer service, external sales) to ensure accuracy of information.

* To support the external sales community with the preparatory commercial work for tenders

* To support the external sales community in the final commercial negotiations (cost model, price lists, tender templates, etc) with customers when requested.

* To secure the accurate general price updates, including the launch of new customers pricelist.

* To support commercial manager with ad hoc requested projects, analysis, and reports.

Skills required:

* PC literate, with an understanding of Microsoft word and excel. Knowledge of SAP would advantageous.

* Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication.

* Able to organise and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines and the ability to work under pressure

* The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy and fast-moving environment. Must have drive and determination to succeed.

* Experience operating within a commercial capacity and understanding of microeconomics (balance sheet, profit and loss account, ect.) is desirable but not essential.
