Westray Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with our manufacturing client who are seeking a buyer on a 4-day work week basis. The role is working 32 hours per week and is a self-starter role with support along the way.

THE ROLE

Source accessories aligned with brand aesthetics
Explore and implement drop shipping options
Build and maintain supplier relationships
Attend UK and international exhibitions to discover new trends
Monitor and manage stock levels for optimal turnover
Develop strategies for stock rotation and performance measurement
Manage the website's outlet section with accurate product listings
Conduct competitor analysis to track market trends and pricing
Set competitive prices while ensuring profitability
Collaborate with the online retail team for smooth product integration
Negotiate favourable contracts with suppliers
Handle import procedures in compliance with regulations THE PERSON

Proven experience in procurement, preferably in furniture and accessories
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build supplier relationships
Ability to travel occasionally to exhibitions both in the UK and internationally
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficiency in competitor analysis and setting product pricing
Resourceful and proactive mindset
Experience with inventory management and online retail platforms is a plus TO APPLY
