Purchase Ledger Clerk | £26k | Wigan | Great team and working culture in brand new offices

My client is looking for someone to join the finance team to join their Purchase ledger function, covering several of their group companies. The individual would need to be comfortable dealing with a high volume of purchase invoices in a fast-moving environment. Attention to detail is a must, as is excellent communication skills as there will be a requirement to deal with all suppliers, individual teams and the procurement department.

Key responsibilities:
• Process purchase invoices using the three-way matching principle.
• Reconciliation of all supplier statements.
• Manage and resolve all purchase ledger queries.
• Communicate with teams and procurement to ensure all invoices are cleared for payment according to terms.
• Process employee expenses.
• Assist in preparing weekly payment runs.

Package and benefits:
• Salary: £26k
• Working hours are flexible Monday – Friday with core hours being 10am – 3pm. Friday is an early finish. 30 minutes lunch break. 41 hours per week.
