PE Global are an approved supplier to the NHS via the Health Trust Europe Framework. We are pleased to be working with a community hospital based in Stoke-on-Trent to support their temporary agency requirements.
The role:
Are you a caring and compassionate Registered General Nurse looking for additional shifts, days, nights or weekends? We are working with 2 community hospitals in the region who are looking for Band 5 Nurses to pick up ad-hoc shifts to support their services.
You will assist the Ward/Team Manager in providing high quality nursing care and treatment of patients in conjunction with other professionals through the hospitals multi-disciplinary assessment, treatment and care programmes.
We can offer you a variety of shift patters, from long days or nights to traditional 7.5 hours on weekdays or weekends. You can work a few shifts, a few weeks or for a number of months.
Main Duties:
• Deliver a high quality clinical service to patient and their families and carers.
• Administer medication, complying with relevant Trust procedures and NMC guidelines.
• Assess patients individual care needs, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
• Contribute to care plans in cooperation with multi-disciplinary teams within the hospital and under supervision of more senior team members.
• Maintain an effective reporting system by observing and reporting verbally and in writing on patient condition.
• Ensure the safe custody of all patients as determined by the clinical team. This includes supervision of patients within the hospital, grounds and the community as required.

What you’ll need:
A minimum of 6 months paid experience in ward-based nursing environment within the UK
Hold a valid NMC PIN – Sponsorship is not available
Enhanced DBS
Occupational Health Clearance
