We’re recruiting for a No.1 site manager on behalf of a main contractor, to deliver the strip-out and refurbishment of a hospital operating theatre in Central London. This is a complex and highly sensitive £1.5m healthcare project requiring careful coordination, attention to detail, and experience working in live hospital environments.
The role:

Lead on-site operations as No.1, overseeing the full lifecycle of the theatre strip-out and refurbishment.
Manage subcontractors, site teams, and daily logistics to ensure smooth delivery in a live healthcare setting.
Coordinate closely with the client and hospital staff to minimise disruption and maintain strict safety protocols.
Ensure all work is delivered on time, to spec, and in line with healthcare compliance and infection control standards.
Monitor and report on programme, quality, and health and safety performance throughout. About you:

Proven experience delivering healthcare refurbishments, ideally operating theatres or clinical environments.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within healthcare settings.
Able to manage site activity confidently as the lead manager on a live site.
