Premier Recruitment is delighted to be working with a prestigious Legal 500 law firm based in Bexleyheath, who are seeking an Assistant Legal Cashier to join their dynamic team.

About the Role:

As an Assistant Legal Cashier, you will be an integral part of the finance team, supporting the firm's legal cashiering functions. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a leading law firm, renowned for its commitment to excellence and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing client and office accounts in accordance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
Processing payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.
Handling electronic payments including CHAPS, BACS, and Faster Payments.
Assisting with VAT returns and other regulatory compliance tasks.
Providing support to the wider accounts team as needed.

Key Requirements:

Previous 1 years plus experience in an accounts or finance role is essential.
Legal accounts experience is highly desirable.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
