Role Overview:
As a Microsoft Dynamics BC Developer, you will play a key role in the ongoing implementation and optimisation of Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will primarily focus on the Financial Management module with an emphasis on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cash Flow Management, ensuring the system meets the business’s evolving financial requirements. In addition, you will be involved in supply chain processes, supporting both financial and operational aspects of the business.
This is an in-house role where you will be collaborating with various internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate those requirements into technical solutions. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to manage global transactions and enhance business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with a focus on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cash Flow Management.
Work closely with finance and supply chain teams to align Dynamics BC functionality with business needs and improve operational efficiencies.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Dynamics BC.
Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and optimisation, ensuring that Dynamics BC continues to meet the growing demands of the business.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial processes.
Support the integration of supply chain processes within Dynamics BC, enhancing inventory, procurement, and order management systems.
Continuously monitor, evaluate, and recommend improvements to enhance the overall performance and functionality of Dynamics BC.Key Skills & Experience:
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Dynamics BC) development and configuration experience.
Strong focus on Financial Modules, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cash Flow Management.
Knowledge of Supply Chain processes in a retail environment, ideally including inventory, procurement, and order management within Dynamics BC.
Experience in working with stakeholders and understanding business needs to develop tailored solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Strong understanding of ERP systems and financial workflows.
Ability to manage projects and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Desirable:
Experience in the luxury retail or jewellery industry is a plus.
