Woodshop Foreman – JOINERY

Rate: £20.00 Per Hour + overtime rate time & half

Job Role

We are seeking an experienced workshop supervisor to oversee the shopfloor, working closely with our experienced production manager.

* Supervise daily workshop operations, ensuring sufficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.

* Ensure effective manufacturing processes are adopted across all areas in the workshop.

* Assist joiners with technical questions or manufacturing drawings.

* Ensuring joiners have all the information they need to complete the task.

* Provide guidance and training to team members on the proper use of tools and machinery.

* Ensure deadlines in production and deliveries to site are on time and in full.

* Quality control of joinery in-house and to site.

* Coordinate with site teams to supply joinery and materials as required.

Skills and Experience

* A strong production management background within the joinery industry.

* A complete understanding of joinery manufacturing techniques and machinery.

* An excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with staff, clients and within the business.

* Ability to produce production plans to ensure clear resource management.

* Ability to read and understand drawings (including manufacturing detail), specifications and production through to delivery.

* Along with the rest of the senior management team you will select & mentor our apprentices as we see them as an important part of the future.
