My client is an aerospace manufacturing company looking for a Grinding Setter/Operator to join their team. They are looking for a hard working individual looking for a challenge and to be rewarded fairly for their efforts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include setting and operating manual grinding machines (centreless), with the goal of manufacturing high quality, right first-time products. The ideal candidate will be confident setting and operating centreless grinding machines, and will be well-versed creating parts/components for high precision industries such as aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, nuclear, rail etc.

Job Description

Set and operate manual grinding machines (centreless)
In process deburring and Self Inspection
Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards
Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Previous experience setting and operating manual OR CNC centreless grinding machines
Confident machining high precision components
Well-versed making parts/components for highly regulated industries such as aerospace, oil & gas, automotive, nuclear, rail etc
Strong problem solving ability
