We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our growing client base with their accounting needs, tax planning, and financial strategies.

The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll work directly with SMEs and sole traders to manage and streamline their financial processes, ensuring compliance and maximizing their financial health. This role offers an excellent opportunity to use your technical skills in accounting, tax, and advisory, while also building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Maintain existing client relationships

* Servicing client portfolio

* Production of monthly management accounts

* Accounts Preparation

* Personal Tax and Business Tax computations

* Calculating and filing VAT returns

* Assisting clients with cloud accounting

* Assisting junior staff with accounting training

What we will need from you

* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or equivalent

* Experience in an accountancy practice

* In-depth knowledge of accountancy software

* Strong understanding of UK tax regulations for businesses and sole traders

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
