Quality Inspector

Location: Jarrow
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (1 week of 9am-5pm, 1 week of 1pm-8pm)We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our clients fantastic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing visual inspections on various types of welds, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Day-to-day of the role:

Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Identify and document any defects or non-conformities.
Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in visual inspection, ideally of welds.
Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Willingness to work rotating shifts as specified
