PE Teacher

Salary: £125 - £220 per day

GSL Education are seeking to employ a PE teacher to work forshort and long-term placements for a client school based in Sheffield, starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who must be hardworking, conscientious and full of energy, with a strong track record of raising attainment.

As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons that engage and challenge students. Whether you’re an experienced PE Teacher or a newly qualified teacher eager to start your journey, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking team.

As a PE Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
Encourage and inspire students to participate in sports and physical activities.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Promote a positive attitude towards physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall development of the school’s PE curriculum.
As a PE Teacher, essential requirements include the following:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Physical Education.
Previous experience as a PE Teacher is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
A passion for physical education and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to have one processed immediately.
