We are content, design and research specialists, using fresh ideas and leading-edge tech to build and maintain digital solutions that will be used by nearly every person in the UK, every day and at key moments in their lives.

The scale of what we do is extraordinary, and our purpose is unique. We'd love you to join us.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

Evidence of designing and delivering plans to raise capability through recruitment and capacity coordination.
Leading on evaluation and impact work to review capability processes and improve the quality of a service through pre, during and post recruitment exercise evaluation, including reporting and evidence-based recommendations.
Being an advocate in the workplace community for capability building. Creating an inclusive culture of development for all where staff prioritise engaging with recruitment efforts.
Building and sustaining long-term, strategic relationships with relevant stakeholders (within own team and wider) in order to deliver successful business outcomes.

You and your role

You'll be at the core of the User-Centred Design (UCD) practice, guiding and expanding the support network to optimise recruitment, capability and resource functions.

You will work with our leadership team to support the community and culture within the UCD and wider digital community, championing best practices and ways of working.

DWP is the largest government department and the services we offer are essential for millions of UK citizens. Your role is central to ensuring our UCD team has the right skills, the right direction and the right culture to deliver better services to the people who need them most.
