Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Grantham
Salary: £40,000 + Benefits

Working Hours: (12 hours, 4 on 4 off) - Day/Nights

About Us

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who will collaborate with the engineering team to carry out daily maintenance tasks, ensuring all work aligns with Health & Safety regulations and site policies. Your efforts will be key in maintaining machinery and equipment, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with Health & Safety Regulations and follows Safe Systems of Work.
Conduct planned maintenance on machinery and equipment within a fast-paced environment.
Proactively identify and resolve recurring issues through root cause analysis, implementing solutions to improve equipment reliability.
Collaborate with the wider engineering team to improve operational processes and performance.About You

The ideal candidate will have experience within mechanical maintenance of plant machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) or an apprenticeship.
Prior experience in planned and reactive maintenance roles is essential
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving recurring issues.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels within the business.
