We are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Manager for our clients Structural Steelwork Fabrication business.

You will work closely with the wider Management team to ensure workloads run smoothly and you should have good knowledge of relevant Health & Safety and proven history of managing a team.

Production Manager duties include:
• Plan and coordinate workloads as they progress through the fabrication workshop
• Interpret and review fabrication drawings prior to production
• Liaise with wider Management team to manage and progress workloads, including any revisions/variations to drawings
• Attend daily production meetings
• Ensure housekeeping standards are always maintained
• Monitor and audit tool costs, performance and stock levels

Production Manager requirements:
• Experience and understanding of structural steelwork is essential
• Must be computer literate
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Proven experience of managing a team
