My Client in Pool is looking for a CNC Turner Programmer.

The Role

* Sub-contract precision engineering – mild steel, stainless steel, super duplex, brass, aluminium, and plastic manufacturing

* Programming, Setting, and Operating (Fanuc + Manual Guide) CNC multi-axis lathes

* Manufacturing quantities from prototypes to medium batch runs

* Inspecting, using verniers, thread gauges and micrometres etc

* Maintaining a clear workstation

The Ideal candidate:

* Industry experience in a subcontracting environment; a familiarity with frequent, daily changes

* Good experience programming, setting and operating CNC multi-axis lathes (Fanuc & Manual Guide)

* Experience using CNC lathes with bar a feed system

* The ability to change and reset machines multiple times per day, independently

* Attention to detail; capable of detailed deburring and conducting first-off inspections using verniers, thread gauges and micrometres etc

* Good work ethic: you’ll have demonstrated reliability, proactivity and loyalty in previous positions

* Organised; the ability to multitask, looking after two machines, at any given time

Salary: Competitive rates of pay (depending on skill level) – plus overtime and profit related bonus. Full pay review after 3 months with pay increase based on ability.

Hours: Full time, Permanent, 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 1.30pm Friday (40 hours).

Pay: £18 - £20 PH (£37,440 - £41,600 PA)
