Fantastic opportunity to join this leading FM & Maintenance company on one of their most prestigious and critical sites in London

The ideal candidates will need to be Technically qualified & have strong Supervisor/ Management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision of the site team in accordance with Procedures and Policies.

Ensuring the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and repair of the sites Electrical Plant and Equipment and Services.

Organise and if necessary, assist in reactive repairs to the sites M&E systems (BMS, Fire, Air Conditioning, Generators and LV/HV Electrical Distribution and Switch Gear).

Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by administration team.

Prioritising and delegating reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks to the site team ensuring optimum levels of service delivery are being achieved using the CAFM system.

Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices, ensure all SLA are meant.

Running the site permit to work system and ensure all sub-contractors are working safely and to a high standard, as per Procedures and Polices.

Assisting in the writing of reports for the client.

Assisting with internal and external audits.

Preparing quotation and proposals at the client's request.

Assisting with the development of the site team.

Ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard and suitable for potential clients to attend at any point - site standards maintained

Advising the Contract Manager on holiday/absence cover.

Ensuring that all concerned parties (client & FM service provider) are kept informed and updated in relation to all going concerns on site.

Training:

Apprenticeship (or equivalent programme) in Electrical Engineering.

LV/ HV AP Qualified

18th Edition IEE Regs

Permit to Work

IOSH Managing Safely

Competent with office software applications i.e. Email, word processing, Excel etc.

Experience:

At least three years at a similar level or equivalent.

Excellent knowledge of the operation of Electrical services and plant.

Ability to interrogate and operate BMS systems

Knowledge of current technical standards in relation to Fire Alarm Systems, Generators, Electrical Services & LV/HV systems

Knowledge of business-critical services i.e. UPS and Comms Rooms etc.

Knowledge of Lifts and associated services

Working in a "services supply partnership"

Formulating, Assessing and Validating Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Aptitudes:

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Numerate and computer literate.

Character:

Excellent motivational and influencing skills, with high levels of personal integrity.

The ability to speak to people with varying technical knowledge. A role model for customer service excellence.

Analytical

Incumbents must have a high level of energy, be self- starters, confident and stable in manner.

Organised, able to prioritise and deliver within high pressure, business critical environments

Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.

Able to work under pressure.

Able to make sound decisions when needed.

Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg.

Able to ascend / descend vertical access equipment.

Able to work at height.

Circumstances:

Occasional late working may be required.

Must be flexible regarding working hours
