Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Eastbourne (Hybrid)

Salary: £40,000 to £47,000, dependent on experience

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a strong background in NEC contracts to join our team. This is a dynamic and fast-paced opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects within the construction and telecoms/utility sectors. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience and be capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all aspects of Quantity Surveying, including cost control, performance risk, and value management.

Provide detailed understanding and monitoring of quantified measures throughout the project lifecycle.

Interpret and apply NEC contract principles and manage compliance with terms.

Support commercial managers in understanding the construction build process and effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and financial forecasting.

Collaborate closely with project teams to maintain high standards and deliver successful project outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with NEC contracts.

Ideally, a degree in commercial, contract, or project management (or equivalent substantial professional experience).

Strong industry background in construction; telecoms or utilities experience is also desirable.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in Excel and other relevant project management tools.
