Work for a leading Construction Health and Safety Team : CDM Consultant position available!
Are you an experienced Health and Safety Advisor in Construction who is passionate about CDM and ensuring world-class standards and practices?
Sustainable Futures Group (SFG) is excited to be partnering with a well-established and leading Construction and Engineering consultancy in London that is looking for an experienced and dedicated CDM Consultant to play a key role in delivering CDM services for both public and private clients, across multiple sectors within the construction industry.
The organisation operates with projects ranging from minor works to major contracts worth in excess of £300 million and covers all major sectors across a hugely diverse and expansive client portfolio.
The CDM Consultant will be responsible for:
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships, tailoring CDM solutions to their needs
* Overseeing the implementation of CDM regulations throughout the project lifecycle
* Conducting thorough risk assessments and identifying potential hazards during the design phase
* Preparing and maintaining essential documentation, including pre-construction information and health and safety files
* Collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure adherence to safety standards
* Developing strategies to mitigate risks and enhance safety protocols
To be considered for this role you should have:
* A background in Health and Safety within a Construction environment with a strong understanding of industry-specific safety challenges
* Experience in CDM
* Be a Technical member of IOSH (TechIOSH) or APS Membership
* A NEBOSH Construction or an equivalent Level 3 Health and Safety qualification such as NVQ
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage directly with clients

* A competitive basic salary of between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
