Warehouse Operative – Telford - Permanent

L & C Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in Telford for a new member of their warehouse team. To be considered for this permanent Warehouse Operative role in this small but clean & busy warehouse, you MUST have worked in a warehouse-based role previously, have a solid, stable work history in similar roles and be able to provide 2 recent, work-based references. Hours of work are 09:00 – 17:00, Mon – Fri (45 mins lunch).

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

* Unloading incoming deliveries and putting stock away in the correct locations

* Dealing with incoming delivery paperwork

* Picking and then packing items of stock for despatch

* Stock file checking

You must be bright, IT literate and be physically fit as you will be on your feet for long periods (though there is minimal heavy lifting). You will be professional & hard-working, be a good team player and have a good team mentality to fit into this busy environment.

A modern, clean environment with a good canteen including snacks and drinks provided!

Location means own transport is probably ideal, though it is accessible from Donnington, Muxton, Trench, Oakengates and St Georges on public transport.

This role will include similar responsibilities such as: Warehouse Operative, Storesman, Stock Controller, Goods In, Goods Out, Store Man, Picker, Packer etc
