Children’s Home Registered Manager

Kettering

£60k pa salary for experienced managers, plus a further £10k paid quarterly on performance based bonus.

I am looking for an experienced Registered Manager for children and young people home in Kettering, for an ambitious, rapidly expanding organisation who really invest in their staff. The Home will provide placements for up to 4 young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

In this Registered Manager Role you will:

* Work with the Senior Management Team to promote the values and ethos of the company

* Manage all aspects of the Children’s Home

* Take responsibility for the implementation of all young people’s placements to support their emotional and mental wellbeing

* Take the lead in the development, implementation, monitoring and review of standards across the home

* Ensure exceptional levels of care for all young people and ongoing compliance with Ofsted and all relevant regulations

* Establish and maintain a competent, motivated and confident staff team

* Provide supervision and development of the residential care staff

* Be the responsible person for managing child protection concerns, complaints and health and safety in order to ensure that the needs of all young people are met

For this role you must have:

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in residential care (or equivalent)

* A minimum of five years’ residential experience within the children’s home sector

* A minimum of three years’ management experience in the children’s home sector

* Experience in applying policies and procedures relating to the care of young people and the management of services

* Experience of current Ofsted Inspection Framework

* Sound knowledge of governing legislation, procedures and best practice in caring for children

* A full manual UK driving licence essential
