Night Shift CNC Miller

Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for a better work-life balance? How does a 3-day weekend every week sound? Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity to work 37½ hours over just four days (Monday to Thursday), giving you Fridays off!

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller with exceptional Programming and Setting abilities to join our client’s small, dedicated team. You’ll be working on their state-of-the-art Matsuura 5-axis milling machines.

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

Hours: 18:00pm – 06:30am (37.5 hours Per Week) 3 Night Working Week

Salary: Up to £17.95 + 25% Shift Allowance

Benefits: 25 days holiday including bank holidays, on-site parking, small, friendly team, overtime available.

Duties To Include:

* Program, set and operate the CNC Milling machines.

* Operating a variety of 3,4 and 5 axis milling machines.

* Run production jobs on the CNC machines.

* Carry out inspections on completed batches.

* Ensure parts are manufactured correctly and to the drawings

* Meeting tight deadlines.

Skills/Experience Required:

* Proven experience with Fanuc controls.

* Ability to program with CadCam / OneCNC – On the machine or offline.

* A sharp eye for detail and the capability to interpret complex technical drawings

* A team player with great problem-solving skills
