Responsibilities and duties
As a Lead Site Engineer you will:
Manage a team of engineers and coordinate their tasks.
Develop and improve manufacturing methods.
Assist with project planning, methodology, and creating documents like RAMS.
Provide technical solutions for any issues that arise.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
Collaborate with management and teams on production schedules and capabilities.
Specify materials, manufacturing methods, and necessary tools or equipment.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Engineering degree or equivalent technical HNC/ONC qualification.
Proven track record in stainless steel fabrication and welding projects.
Competence in managing timescales, budgets, and a fast-paced construction environment.
Strong communication skills, ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Salary and benefits of the Lead Site Engineer role
£42.71 an hour (£84,394 per annum)
Contracted to a minimum of 38 hours per week, with overtime available.
Opportunity to work on a 10 on/4 off rotation or 5/2 schedule.
Accommodation allowance of £38 per night.
