Are you an experienced Vascular Sonographer looking for your next role in South East London? Hunter AHP is currently recruiting for a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join a well-established NHS trust on a locum basis.

Role Overview:

Position: Vascular Sonographer
Location: South East London area 
Pay Rate: £33 - £45 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Locum, Full-time/Part-time options available
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound scans for vascular procedures
Interpret and report on results, collaborating with medical teams for patient care
Carry out assessments of arterial, venous, and Doppler ultrasound studies
Maintain accurate records and adhere to departmental protocols and NHS guidelines
Provide support to patients throughout the scanning process

Required Skills & Qualifications:

HCPC registered Vascular Sonographer
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in vascular ultrasound scanning
Strong knowledge of vascular imaging techniques (including arterial, venous, and Doppler)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
NHS experience is preferred but not essential
