As a Housing Officer, you will manage properties leased by Causeway, supporting tenants with their housing needs and contributing to our policy and service development. Key duties include:

Tenant Support: Interview housing applicants, issue tenancy agreements, and assist tenants with external agencies and rehousing options.
Property Management: Manage property maintenance and repairs, oversee new lettings, and ensure high standards are maintained.
Rent Collection: Monitor rent payments and arrears, implementing policies where necessary, and represent Causeway in court if required.
Community Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with tenants, mediate disputes, and liaise with external agencies.Who We're Looking For

At least one year of experience in housing management or a related role.
Strong commitment to social housing and equality.
Knowledge of housing maintenance and health & safety procedures.
Effective communication skills and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
