Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
Hours: 37 hours per week

Our client is looking for a highly motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional ideally with a manufacturing background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to drive financial efficiency and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow through daily analysis and weekly forecasts, working closely with the sales team and parent company to ensure smooth cash operations.
Month-End Accounts: Play a key role in the month-end process, including posting journals, preparing analysis, and performing balance sheet reconciliations.
Manufacturing Financial Support: Collaborate with the production and supply chain teams, providing financial insights to enhance manufacturing efficiency's.
Inventory Control: Manage monthly stock counts, inputting data, and analysing discrepancies for accuracy.
Fixed Assets Management: Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of fixed assets.
VAT Returns: Responsible for timely and accurate preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Financial Support for Management: Assist managers by providing financial support to aid in budget management.
IT Support: Support IT projects and daily activities in line with business needs.
