Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are assisting a client to recruit an Accounts Senior, to support the ongoing growth and success of their accountancy practise.

Job description

Our client is a West Yorkshire-based firm of chartered accountants, with successful offices in Leeds, Wakefield and Halifax looking to recruit an Accounts Senior (Qualified AAT or Part-Qualified ACA) to work in their expanding accounts department. Whether you are qualified or are part way through your ACA studies we would be happy to hear from you.

Job role:

* Preparation of year-end accounts.

* Preparation of management accounts.

* VAT Returns

* Completion of associated tax computations.

* Ensuring technical competence and accuracy of the department’s work through review

* Adherence to statutory and other deadlines

* Liaising extensively with clients in relation to day-to-day compliance and planning issues

* Identification of planning opportunities

Salary:

Competitive salaries paid - Depending on level of experience.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday with college days when applicable.
