Immediate Start: Begin your new role as soon as vetting is completed.What You'll Be Doing: As a crucial part of the admin team, you'll handle a variety of tasks to support the smooth functioning of the Bailiff team, including:
Collaborate and Communicate: Engage professionally with court users, bailiffs, judiciary members, and the public, ensuring effective communication and smooth processes.
Telephone Duties: Handle incoming calls for the bailiff team, answer inquiries, and manage sensitive situations with professionalism.
Scheduling and Bookings: Book evictions, gather risk assessments, and organise the Bailiff team's daily run sheets to ensure seamless operation.
Data Management: Input bailiff returns accurately and use computer applications (training provided) to maintain up-to-date records.
Payment Processing: Take payments over the phone with attention to detail and professionalism.
General Office Support: Handle essential administrative duties, including filing and document preparation, to keep the office organised and efficient.What We're Looking For:
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with confidence to handle potentially awkward conversations in a professional manner.
IT Savvy: Basic IT skills, particularly in working with software and Office 365 applications.
Adaptability: Candidates from diverse backgrounds are welcome, as long as they can engage professionally and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience: Previous administrative experience is a plus but not essential-showcasing a willingness to learn is key.This role is perfect for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to the justice system's efficiency.
