SF Recruitment are currently working with a fantastic business in the recruitment of an Interim Financial Controller
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid working)
Key Responsibilities:
- This role will play a pivotal role in supporting with process improvements for Financial Controls and systems.
- Year-end accounts and audit support.
- Develop and implement an improved control framework using best practice experience and knowledge and fulfilling audit recommendations.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial analysis and insights for decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Co-ordinating external audit being a key point of contact between the business and the auditors.
The Successful Applicant:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Strong Financial Accounting experience
- Experience is financial controls and process improvements
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
