We are currently recruiting for a Medical Device Design Engineer to work for a fantastic company based near to Melbourn. They’re looking for someone who has previous experience working in a similar industry

Typical duties are:

* Maintain and update medical device specifications, designs and documentation.

* Identify, investigate, and resolve product issues.

* Develop products through prototyping, fabrication, and testing.

* Implement value engineering for safety purposes alongside making them more user friendly and economical.

* Collaborate with sales and purchasing for technical support and procurement.

The successful candidate:

* Solidworks (or similar) CAD experience through either in role training or formal qualifications.

* Previous hands-on small tools and bench experience including general metal and wood work.

* Good communication skills both written and verbal.

* An understanding of medical regulatory standards.
