Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring seamless contract management?
We are seeking a skilled individual to take charge of all aspects of contract management, ensuring smooth and timely execution of contractual obligations for high-value sales orders.
As the Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful management of contracts from start to finish, driving efficient processes and contributing to the overall business success.
You will work closely with internal teams, taking full responsibility for ensuring all documentation is precise, processes are followed, and deadlines are met within a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.
Contracts Manager Responsibilities:
* Lead the review and administration of contracts, ensuring all terms, conditions, and timelines are clearly defined and adhered to.
* Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initial paperwork to final execution, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
* Manage contract numbering, credit checks, and the filing of all required documents within company systems.
* Ensure all contractual processes follow required timescales, minimising delays and ensuring all deadlines are met.
* Collaborate with sales and project teams to ensure contract terms align with business goals and compliance requirements.
* Maintain meticulous records of all contracts, amendments, and supporting documentation, ensuring easy accessibility and audit readiness.
* Monitor and report on contract performance, providing regular updates to senior management on progress, risks, and upcoming deadlines.
* Support contract negotiations, focusing on achieving commercially favourable outcomes while maintaining compliance with company policies.
* Ensure coordination between various departments for the smooth execution of contracts, including logistics, payments, and client communication.
* Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
Skills and Qualities:
* Proven experience in contract management within a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
* Strong knowledge of contract terms, conditions, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, ensuring contractual processes are followed in a timely manner.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
* Experience with contract management systems (desirable).
* Analytical mindset with the ability to provide insights into contract performance and improvements.
