Senior Architectural Technician

My client are a growing contractor building stylish homes across the North West. Due to several new developments starting in the region they have an opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician to join their Design & Technical team.

The company specialise in a mix of housing and apartment schemes across the Greater Manchester region offering a range of house types.

Senior Architectural Technician Role

Working closely with the Head of Design your duties and responsibilities will include:

Designing and the production of working drawings for residential developments including a wide range of house types, low rise Apartments and high rise apartments
Working alongside the Designer and assisting in the production of the planning drawing packages
Attending site meetings and supporting site staff with any technical queries
Assisting in the management and satisfying regulatory bodies such as Planning, Building Control.

Senior Architectural Technician skills and experience required:

Minimum HNC in Construction (or similar)
Minimum 5 years experience
Strong understanding of buildings and construction
Previous experience working on housing developments (UK based experience essential)
Creativity and design
Good drawing skills
Strong visualisation
Practical problem-solving
Team player
