Mechanical Fitter required for our client, a leading contractor with a workshop based in Burnley, that specialises in the design, installation, and maintenance of industrial-size pumps and related mechanical equipment within the water treatment industry.

Mechanical Fitter Position Remuneration

Salary £35,100 - £39,800, negotiable depending on experience
45 hour working week (Monday - Friday)

Travel paid to/from sites
33 days holiday, including bank holidays
No on call/standby requirementsDue to expansion, our client has an opening within their installation team for a mechanically-experienced individual to join the team, and the successful Mechanical Fitter will be completing installations and commissioning of large-scale industrial wastewater and clean water treatment equipment.

The work will be split between our client's workshop near the Burnley area, and on-site across the UK with all expenses for stay-aways paid. The successful Mechanical Fitter must be happy to travel across the UK and stay away from home regularly, and will be compensated suitably.

Mechanical Fitter Position Requirements

Strong mechanical background, particularly within heavy-duty mechanical installations
Experience within the water industry highly desirable
Full UK driving licence
CSCS & Water Hygiene card desirable, but will be provided upon start if not already owned
Based within a commutable distance of Burnley
