Therapy Support - Maidenhead

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic therapy support assistant to join a lovely supportive team and one of our highly regarded specialist schools in Maidenhead.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in a supportive team. You will also be making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
In this role, you will provided specialised and tailored support to students who struggle with severe social, emotional and mental health needs.
The students who attend this school also struggle with Autism, and are between the ages of 4 and 16.
They each have individualised plans and interventions and require support in ensuring that their interventions are followed correctly.
The intervention will focus on promoting age appropriate skills and milestones.
You will also help the children promote and work on any skills that they may have lost as a result of their Autism or mental health struggles.
You will need to have a positive and empathetic attitude to do well in this role.
You will also need to understand the importance of safeguarding
The ability to work well in a fast paced environment will benefit you in a role like this
