We are currently recruiting for a Meat Packing Operative, for one of our clients based in the Emerson Green area. This is a long-term Fixed shift AM/PM from Mon-Fri opportunity with a steady shift pattern and plenty of overtime hours available.

Reporting directly to the Packing Supervisor, successful candidates will receive comprehensive training to work across multiple areas, including the box room, freezer lines, and carousel operations. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and efficient work environment, ensuring strict adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver work to the highest standards to meet production deadlines effectively.

* Actively pursue training opportunities to stay current with industry best practices and enhance skill levels.

* Collaborate with team members, taking ownership of personal tasks while supporting team goals.

* Follow all procedures with a safety-first approach, adhering strictly to training guidelines.

* Adhere to company policies on safe food handling and hygiene at all times.

* Ensure the operational efficiency of equipment and promptly report any issues or malfunctions to management.

* Maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) in line with safety requirements.

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience in food production is beneficial; however, training will be provided.

* Eager to learn, develop semi-skilled abilities, and advance within the role.

* Strong communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.

* Candidates should have a proactive attitude and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
