Regulatory & Compliance Engineer
Working Monday to Thursday - No remote working – 32 hours a week
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Regulatory & Compliance Engineer to join their team. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the company are compliant in all aspects of their manufacturing processes.
Duties will include:
1: Determine applicable regulations relating to the products including chemicals and materials used in the manufacturing of the products ( i.e., GMP, REACH, MSDS- etc).
2: Devise action plans and strategies to achieve compliances with the applicable regulations as mentioned in the point 1 above.
3: Continuously monitor changes and updates in regulations and ensure that compliance is implemented in a timely manner.
4; Conduct audits to assess compliance with ISO 9001 QMS and GMP and any other area as required.
5: Devise and agree action plans with the relevant managers to address any non- compliances discovered during the audits.
6: Analyse current standard operating procedures, documents, and practices with a view to achieve continuous improvement.
7: Revision of existing procedures and to write additional procedures to address any deficiencies discovered by the external auditors.
8: Communication with the regulatory bodies and other interested parties as and when required.
Skills & Experience required
Good experience of ISO 9001:2015. & GMP.
Knowledge of REACH.
Ability to write and update Material Safety Data Sheets.
A detailed understanding of Auditing processes.
Experience of writing clear procedures.
Ability to communicate with all levels both internally and externally.
Qualifications
A Chemistry Degree would be advantageous but not essential
Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing compliance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems in a creative manner.
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
£24,000.00 per year
Must live in a commutable distance from Ashford, Middlesex
