We are seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join the team, playing a vital role in supporting students' education and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers.

Job Summary:

The Cover Supervisor will supervise whole classes across a variety of subjects and year groups, ensuring that students complete work set by their teachers and maintain a focused, productive environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education, looking to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school setting, and ready to make a positive impact on students' academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring they follow the lesson plan and complete assigned work.
Maintain a calm, orderly learning environment, addressing any behavioral issues in line with the school's behavior policy.
Provide support to students by answering questions, explaining instructions, and offering guidance to help them complete their tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

Prior experience working in a school or with young people is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a classroom and engage with students, staff, and parents effectively.
A positive, proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenges calmly and efficiently
