Our client is currently seeking a talented Private Client Tax Manager to join their dynamic team at their Horsham office. As a Private Client Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of private clients, providing expert tax advice and compliance services. You will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services, and fostering strong client relationships. Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Management:
Manage a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and trusts.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all tax-related matters.
Provide tailored tax planning advice to clients, considering their individual circumstances and financial goals.
Tax Compliance and Advisory:
Oversee the preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
Advise clients on a wide range of tax issues, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax planning.
Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to clients proactively.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Review work completed by junior team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Business Development:
Identify opportunities to expand services to existing clients and attract new business.
Participate in networking events and contribute to marketing initiatives to enhance the firm's profile in the marketplace.
Strategic Contribution:
Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm's tax strategy.
Collaborate with other departments to provide a holistic service to clients and identify cross-selling opportunities.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
Extensive experience in private client tax, preferably within an accountancy practice environment.
Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
Proven track record of managing a diverse client portfolio and delivering high-quality tax advice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.

The client we are representing is offering a competitive remuneration package including:
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 (Subject to applicants qualification and level of experience)
