Early Years Practitioner

An opportunity has arisen for a Early Years Practitioner at an independent children’s day nursery in Maidenhead.

You will be joining an Ofsted outstanding nursery setting in a role which offers support, development and progression opportunities, a starting salary of £12.00 - £14.00 per hour negotiable depending on experience.

Early Years Practitioner - Position Details

Your role will include:

* Working as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which children can play, learn and develop

* Preparing and delivering activities in accordance with the EYFS

* Observing, supporting and extending children’s learning

* Creating individual learning journey records and evaluating key children’s learning and development progress.

You will ideally have:

* A level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner qualification such as NVQ, NNEB, CACHE or recognised equivalent

* A good understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS framework

* Experience as a key worker within an early years setting is desirable but not essential

* Good organisational skills
