Position Overview: They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established and dynamic commercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
Undertake cost estimation, tendering, and procurement activities.
Manage subcontractor agreements and payments.
Monitor project costs and financial performance against budget.
Prepare and submit accurate progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Provide contractual advice and support to project teams.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Chartered membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS).
Minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering projects and contracts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as MS Excel and QS software.
