We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineering Manager based in Reading, Berkshire.

The Senior Engineering Manager (SEM) will be responsible for packages within a specific engineering discipline on a large complex delivery project these packages are typically in the manufacturing / site installation phases.

The SEM will be responsible for ensuring the design is developed in a manner that maintains the design intent.

They will be required to have a good understanding of the design intent requirements and manage their delivery through to verification and will also need to be able to demonstrate the correct process has been followed in the design generation including but not limited to, the engagement of stakeholders, collation of comments and generation of design review presentations.

Responsible for the prioritisation and management of the Engineering team working on their packages and shall also review responses to Technical Queries, Commissioning Reservations etc once competence assessed to do so.

ESSENTIAL - Already having SC Security Clearance in place is a minimum for this role.

DESIRABLE - Candidates with previous AWE experience are highly desired. and it is highly preferred to have worked in nuclear / defence background and or installation.,
