TITLE: Operations Manager- Waste Management & Recycling

My client is a leading Waste Management and Recycling facility with a strong presence in Kingston. They are now looking for a hands - on and driven Operations Manager to oversee the running of their busy depot.

SALARY: £45k -£55k and Pension

LOCATION: You could be based in Hersham, Walton on Thames, Esher and the surrounding areas.

Previous roles: Operations Manager, Metals Recycling Site Manager, Transfer Station Supervisor, Depot Manager, Production Manager, MRF Manager, MBT Plant Manager.

Previous experience: Waste Management- Household, Commercial, Bulky, Skip, Metals, Construction, Landfill, Pest Control, Ground Control, Refuse Collection, HWRC.

ROLE: Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling

In this role, you will effectively utilise available resources to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement activity of the depot.
Plan and route for collections
Ensure that all production targets and KPI’s are being met or exceeded. You will run reports based on the results of the company’s performance and identify areas for improvement.
This position will see you placing a strong emphasis on worker’s complying with implemented Health and Safety policies.
Provide training as required performance reviews, consistently providing targets to work towards.

EXPERIENCE: Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling
Ideally you will have a WAMITAB COTC Level 4, hold a 360 Operative ticket and have experience operating them.

You will have excellent man - management skills and be confident with leading a team.
You will possess strong IT skills and be willing to build on your current knowledge.
You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
