Financial Controller – Portsmouth - up to 90k DOE

This is a great opportunity to join a world leading navigation company - who design and create navigation and mission systems for a range of clients. They are looking for a Financial Controller to join their team, with the opportunity to progress into Finance Director. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Financial Controller in small-medium companies.

Responsibilities:

* Supervision of external accounting services and office P&L

* Management of accounting records and financial compliance

* Oversight of financial statements and data analysis

* Monitoring expenditures and revenue forecasting

* Monitoring Project EACs and milestone schedules

Requirements:

* BSc in in accounting, economics, finance or equivalent

* Accounting qualification e.g. (ACCA or CIMA)

* A strong understanding of tax codes and laws

* Solid knowledge of standard accountancy and finance best practices

Please note, to be eligible for this role, you must be able to obtain SC Clearance.
