Polytec are looking for an Electronics Engineer for our client based just north of Cambridge.

Responsibilities:

* Specification and design of PCBs
* Maintenance of version-controlled design data
* Managing the fabrication of PCB assemblies through external suppliers
* Verification and validation of PCB designs
* Design, specification and documentation of cables and wiring
* Systems Regulatory EMC compliance testing
* Supervise in-house PCB manufacture and device firmware programming procedures
* Firmware development

Requirements:

* Good degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering or physics
* At least 3 years' postgraduate professional experience in electronics design, PCB schematic capture, layout, manufacture and testing
* Experience designing high-performance precision analogue circuits operating up to 1MHz
* Involvement in product design for CE-compliance, EMC-testing and product safety
* Experience working with distributed version control system (git, hg)
