The company is a successful ambient product manufacturer which has experienced significant growth in the past decade, supplying key customers in the UK food retailer, wholesale and foodservice sectors.

About the QA Compliance Manager job

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide expert quality and technical support to both internal teams and external customers. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products and services meet all internal and external requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will coordinate and maintain the necessary activities to uphold food safety and quality standards, ensuring the highest level of service and product excellence.

Key tasks

* Provide support to the Technical Manager and site teams to achieve technical control, business plan targets, and ensure compliance with company, customer, and legislative requirements.

* Oversee Quality Management Systems, ensuring all standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to, and manage customer complaints, investigations, and corrective actions to ensure 100% satisfaction.

* Lead the Quality teams, driving positive change through audits, training, and development while maintaining product quality, safety, and compliance with legislation.

* Support customer relationships, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring product and raw material queries are resolved, and coordinating audits, NPD processes, and new product launches.

About You

* The successful candidate shall have a Degree or equivalent in Food related subject.

* Our client is looking for at least 2 years relevant technical experience.

* Certifications required include HACCP (Intermediate Level) and Internal Auditing.

The QA Compliance Manager job (ref:8873) is paying £50,000-£55,000 according to your experience.

The site is in Kent and commutable from Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Ashford and surrounding towns.

The package includes Simply Health package, Pension 5% employee, 3% employer.

The working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
