My client is based in Nottingham, commutable from wider Nottinghamshire and parts of Derbyshire. This is a flexible, hybrid opportunity and the candidate can expect to be joining a reputable, established business.

Description

The Assistant Accountant will report into the Finance Manager. Duties include but are not limited to:

Supporting with a wide range of financial duties including delivery accurate accounting and reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Supporting with Financial Reporting
Produce accurate reports
Any ad hoc duties as requested by the Finance ManagerProfile

The successful candidate will:

Have demonstrated experience working in a similar finance role
Have a good understanding of general ledger accounting
Be level 3 AAT qualified (or equivalent work experience)
Be available on short notice
Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal

The successful candidate can expect a starting salary of £27,500 + a 6 month contract + 3 days home working + 35 days annual leave + other benefits
