Reputable Leading Garden Design and Landscaping Company In Bath & Bristol
We are looking to hire a Landscaping Foreman .We build beautiful, award winning gardens for both residential and commercial properties and we are very good at what we do. As a Foreman you'll own each project from breaking ground to the client signing it off, you'll be tasked with creating beautiful residential and commercial gardens across Bath & Bristol.
We are looking for someone that will ensure projects are completed to a high standard of craftmanship and on time.
Requirements
* 3+ years across paving, decking, cladding, turfing, fencing and general carpentry, brick and block work, retaining walls,drainage, groundworks, water features, turfing, etc.
* 3+ years of leading teams of 2+ staff members
* Ability to work to a detailed plan and maintain work schedules provided by the landscaping manager
* Good communication skills across team members, external trades, clients and designers
* Able to maintain a safe and clean working environment as per company policies and safety procedures on site
* Ensuring material waste onsite is kept to a minimum
* Maintain in good and safe working order all tools, vehicles, plant, equipment and machinery on site Desirable
* Good level of spoken English
* UK Driving License
* Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
* Ability to focus on completing projects when challenges arise
* Provide direction and guidance to staff.
* Create and maintain a positive work environment.
* Good horticultural and plant knowledge.
* Designing gardens using Professional Sketch up, Vectorworks or similar programs.
The company works predominantly in the South West of England (Bath, Bristol & Somerset)
Applicants should live locally and/ or be able to travel directly to sites across this area.
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday (Sensible hours)
